Thanks to all who made Rocky's Plaice, the holiday club, such a big success. Currently, none of the Rutherglen Reformer photos are showing up on the web, but they should be out there.
Collectively we now go a bit quiet for the autumn. The next noises to be heard from Cambuslang Churches Together will hopefully be some Carols outside Morrisons in early December.
The one exception to this is the Reachout Trust Annual Celebration which will be held in Burnside Blairbeth Church on the 29th August at 6pm. Please come along and show your support for the work in Cambuslang, and for Estelle our full time worker.
This site is increasingly being used to contact the Churches, which is exactly what it is there for. Use the "Contact" link on the menu and we will endeavour to get back to you as quickly as possible. |

Summerfest 2010 was a slow burner. Things started quiet-ish but kept going all through the day.

This year we were serving coffees, tea, juice and biscuits in the style of a Parisien Cafe. Thanks to all who served and all who said hello.

Our magician Brian Docherty was also a huge hit.
Now we go quiet for the summer, content in the news that Father Paul Morton of St. Bride's, widely tipped to be leaving us after his sabbatical, will be returning to Cambuslang after all. Here he is receiving a Community Service award (coyly it would appear) , with Provost Russell Clearie reading the citation.

Linda and Nigel who embody the spirit of Cambuslang Churches co-operation, and who did so much to enable the day.

This year's caption competition photo...

Welcome to the Cambuslang Churches' website.
You'll be glad that this minute site doesn't represent all that the Churches do in Cambuslang.
Most of the Churches have their own websites, and you can find them on the menu on the left.
This site is here to help you if
- if you want to worship in one of the Churches in Cambuslang,
- if you want to find out about our activities (especially organisations for young people)
- if you would like some help with arranging a wedding
- if you need to talk to a minister or a priest
This little enclave of webspace is also a sign that we take our unity seriously.
We have a long history of co-operation.
We have joint worship at Christmas, Easter and the week of prayer for Christian Unity.
We work with each other during the Cambuslang Summerfest, Carol singing at Christmas and in worship at local care homes.
